Grilled Panela Cheese in the Air Fryer

INGREDIENTS

  • 1 piece of panela cheese

  • 2 tablespoons Desert Gold olive oil

  • 1 tablespoon garlic powder

  • 2 tablespoons dried parsley

  • ½ teaspoon oregano

  • ½ teaspoon mustard

  • ½ teaspoon red paprika

  • 1 tablespoon crushed chili

  • 5 chiltepín peppers

  • ¼ white onion

PREPARATION

  1. Drain the whey from the cheese and set aside.

  2. In a bowl, add Desert Gold olive oil, garlic powder, dried parsley, oregano, mustard, paprika, and crushed chili. Mix until well combined.

  3. Finely chop the onion and add it to the chili and oil mixture.

  4. Completely cover the panela cheese with the oil mixture, cover with plastic wrap, and let marinate in the refrigerator for one hour or preferably overnight.

  5. Place in the air fryer and cook at 180°C (356°F) for 10 minutes.

  6. Serve and enjoy!
